Ancestral Medicine Practitioner Network
Renewal for Calendar Year 2023
Ancestral Medicine asks all Ancestral Healing Practitioners and Trainees to participate in an annual survey and opt-in/renewal process.
Completing this form can be as brief as 5-10 minutes or a longer if you engage at depth. This data will help Ancestral Medicine staff best meet the needs of the Ancestral Medicine Practitioner Network. With the exception of new Cohort Six trainees, we request that everyone in the Network reply by December 31, 2022.
If this deadline passes and we are still, after repeated efforts, unable to reach you, we will move the status of your certification to inactive after a one-month grace period (until Feb 1, 2023). After an additional six months, if not remedied, you will be removed from the Network.
If you indicate on the opt-in form that you no longer wish to continue with the Network for any reason, we will unsubscribe you from the usual internal spaces. If this occurs, we are open to dialogue if you wish to rejoin at a future time.
Benefits of Network membership include:
- Practitioner Network newsletter with invitation to Continuing Education, ancestor circles, and other Network opportunities
- Listing in the Ancestral Medicine Practitioner Directory upon certification
- Invitation to Network-only spaces, including for affinity groups and networking, through the Ancestral Medicine Portal
- Welcome at the Ancestral Medicine quarterly meeting to discuss the development of the Network and larger organization
- Opportunities for both paid and volunteer roles in online courses, ritual services, teachings, and organizational support
- Consideration for referrals via inquiries to AM Staff from prospective clients, interviews, and teaching opportunities
- Inclusion in and access to an awesome, international, multi-cultural collegial network of ritualists and healers
Requirements for Network membership:
- Adherence to the Ancestral Healing Practitioner Code of Ethics
- Adherence to the organizational policies in the current Ancestral Lineage Healing Practitioner Training Manual
- Adherence to requirements for certification and maintenance, including Continuing Education and the pre-certification training process.
- Willingness to engage directly, in good faith, and in a timely way to seek resolution of any concerns that arise with AM policies, staff, or colleagues
- Overall care, respect, and goodwill toward one’s colleagues in the professional network
The questions on the form are only for information gathering. All policies are articulated in the training manual and available to all in the network. If anything about this process or form is unclear, please contact info@ancestralmedicine.org.
