Heart break, longing, and loss are inevitable, yet modern American folk often feel intimidated and ill-equipped to navigate the transformative potency of grief. In this call we’ll discuss ways that diverse cultures weave ritual and grieving in heart-centered community and talk about grieving as one strategy for mending cracks in the larger vessel of our humanity and holy Earth.
Ideally grief work takes place in supportive community with a ritual container to honor the potency and energetic reality of emotional pain. When personal losses are not the catalyst for grief, rituals to invite grief can also support returning rains or healing at the site of historic desecrations of the natural world.
All are welcome, no cost. We’ll meet on the Zoom platform. Join from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android: https://zoom.us/j/274968891. If the recording of the call turns out well, I’ll share it in the January newsletter.
