Our Invitation

Who are the people that most inspire you? How do you still relate with those now among the dead?

Whether it be important mentors, lineage keepers, cultural guides, or dear friends who showed us kindness, we are each already connected in many ways to the ancestors. Making this inherent connection conscious can allow for a more easy-flowing relationship with the beloved dead and the opportunity for deeper relationships that in turn bring magic and inspiration to our daily lives.

In this spirit, we invite you to a multicultural teaching and ritual to celebrate ancestors of culture and path. Daniel will co-weave with somatic coach, queer sex educator, and author Pavini Moray; yoga teacher, sundancer, and ritual leader Gita Thandika; and Celtic monastic, poet, and author Christine Valters Paintner.

Our guests will share strategies for moving in the world with steady, tangible support from our diverse ancestors of culture, lineage, and path.

We’ll explore topics like:

Our time will include:

As is always the case with Ancestral Medicine’s approach to ancestral healing and reconnection, all teachings will be kindly rooted in an anti-racist ethic that opposes ethno-nationalism, colonialism, and any form of ancestral supremacy.

All are welcome, and a recording of this session will be shared afterward with all who register.

This session will also touch on themes we’ll explore much more deeply in both our Beyond Blood Ancestors, a six-week offering starting Sept 6, as well as our most popular course, Ancestral Lineage Healing, which begins on Aug 26. This 12-week journey focuses on ritual skills for healing ourselves, our family lines, and our cultures of origin. Registration for both courses is now open!

Ancestral Lineage Healing is also a prerequisite for our Seventh Cohort of Ancestral Healing Practitioner Training. This immersive training program is appropriate for those in ritual and healing arts who wish to expand their offerings to include culturally mindful ancestral healing services. Learn more about our Practitioner Training program here. Application for this cycle closes on August 31.

We also encourage you to visit the offerings of our guests; see their bios and websites below.

Ancestral love and inspiration can flow easily through and around us. This is normal, common, and helpful.
