About this event
Fear is natural. Fear is sacred. Fear helps us stay alive and avoid danger.
And also, fear can make our lives small, destroy relationships and families, and fuel the worst kind of behaviors that humans are capable of. In this Northern season of ancestor reverence and returning darkness, join us for an embodied, spirit-guided exploration of ways to live in liberatory and pragmatic ways with fear.

More about the event
So many of our world’s devastating human systems are rooted in and driven by fear. Fear of other people, of different ways of living, fear of scarcity, of different ways of knowing and being. So much of our interpersonal suffering is fueled by fear and the understandable longing to feel safe. Yoruba tradition (Adesanya lineage, odu Ogbe-fun) teaches that fear is more powerful than death itself.
This 90 minute offering will explore practical spiritual and psychological strategies for befriending fear in service to courageous and loving action in the world. Our time will include guided practice to access personal support as well as ample time for questions.
