In this free event, learn one reliable, established approach to ancestral and family healing.
Ancestral healing is the process of safely and directly coming into conscious relationship with our lineage ancestors for personal, family, and cultural healing. When approached with care, ancestral healing can loosen places of long-held stagnation, clarify life purpose, and strengthen our capacity to serve with resilience. Relating with the ancestors is accessible to all and a fundamental life skill.

In this 90-minute teaching, Dr. Daniel Foor, founder of Ancestral Medicine and creator of Ancestral Lineage Healing, will cover the basics of relating with ancestors. He’ll draw on decades of immersion in diverse ritual traditions, his training as a therapist, and a sustained commitment to historical honesty and cultural healing.
The talk will be clear, pragmatic, and approachable. Expect to be guided in an experiential practice to safely acknowledge your wise and kind ancestors. The time will be a blend of teaching, guided practice, and Q&A.
About the Instructors
Daniel Foor
Author and Founder at Ancestral Medicine
Daniel is a doctor of psychology, experienced ritualist, and the author of Ancestral Medicine: Rituals for Personal and Family Healing. He is an initiate in the Òrìṣà tradition of Yoruba-speaking West Africa and has learned from teachers of Mahayana Buddhism, Islamic Sufism, and the older ways of his English and German ancestors. Daniel is passionate about training aspiring leaders and change makers in the intersections of cultural healing, animist ethics, and applied ritual arts. He lives with his wife and two daughters near Granada, Spain in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Patrycja Labanowska
Ancestral Healing Practitioner (Warsaw)
Patrycja is an alchemist collaborating with plant and elemental spirits to address underlying trauma and invite the healing powers of our other-than-human kin. As a menopause mid-wife, she supports women’s journey to reclaim their sacred feminine and birth a more whole version of themselves. She is also a visual artist working at the intersection of seen and unseen realms, in apprenticeship with her wise ancestors and helping spirits. Patrycja lives near Warsaw, and works in both Polish and English. She grew up in Nigeria on Hausa and Fulani lands, and her recent ancestors come from Central and Southeastern Poland.
Wojciech Wieconkowski
Event Host and Live Interpretation
Since 2012, Wojciech has been the initiator and visionary behind the Garden of Creation and the New Earth. His connection to the Garden began with a dream of a community devoted to the art of being human, with music at its heart. He creates spaces that invite presence and allow the healing force of life to emerge. Wojciech leads Temazcal ceremonies, concerts, workshops, and sound healing ceremonies. He also crafts instruments through the Metaphoric Tools project.
