For without their sex, there would be no us to remember and to praise them. Join us for a lively evening teaching where we’ll explore:
-What beliefs about sex and gender have we embodied through the useful, or less than useful, teachings from our families?
-How can we dismantle less-than-optimal things we’ve been handed?
-How can we heal sexual wounds passed down through our lineages?
-How can we embrace the gifts of embodied sexuality that the ancients enjoyed?
Our ancestors can be tremendous allies as we heal personal and cultural wounds of misogyny, patriarchy, homophobia, restrictive gender roles, and shame around sex. And yet harmful ways of relating with sexuality and gender are often intergenerational inheritances from our cultures of origin and from our ancestors and families in particular.
In this evening teaching and discussion we’ll explore how our ancestors of lineage and of culture can help us access greater perspective, healing kindness, and life force energy for transforming all the internalized family and cultural funk around sex and gender.
We’ll have time for dialogue and of course the approach to the material will be sex positive, body positive, gender informed and welcoming to diverse perspectives and experiences. Suggested donation $10-20, no one turned away. No need to confirm in advance. Event hosted by Living Love Revolution: http://wwww.livingloverevolution.org/
